Chain and sprockets are cheaper here in New Zealand also you can get different ratios these are not genuine suzuki parts. Milage depends more on ride style, dirt, and maintence but my savage on belt has done 23000 miles belt is still fine apart from stones that have been caught between the pulleys and ripped the cords in two places.
